Well these are the last two boxes I have outstanding from Memebox - self imposed no box rule until the New Year! At least these last two were brands I've always wanted to check out, but they both included a couple of products I'm not keen on.
Banila Co Clean It Zero (which came with a bonus sample size & a promotional product card in english). Something tells me Banila Co is all out for promoting this consumer favorite & award winning cleanser on an international scale. This was a definite win product for me, I've read some fantastic feedback on this cleanser, but always put it aside when shopping (other products become must buys somehow). I'm really looking forward to trying this out. Also I think it's sheer marketing genius to include a gift sample size - a lot of people would probably pass this on to a friend to try out - a great way to spread the word.
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream (which came with a bonus sample serum thing). To be honest I am a sucker for any collagen type products at the moment for age concern skincare reasons, but another reason I wanted to try this has to do with product placement in the drama You're Beautiful. Sucked in. I am really looking forward to trying this out since I binned my Olay Total Effects + Serum cream (which I have decided to partially blame for my recent skin irritations). I'll share some thoughts soon
Etude House Face Conditioning Fixer, I received a Face Conditioning Cream sample not long ago and fricken loved it. I will be purchasing. I have not tried this fixer spray yet, but I am a sucker for fix sprays (hello AC and work days). I'm really happy to get another spray to try, hopefully it's awesome - but not so awesome I have to pay through the nose for it! I love that it comes in an 80ml bottle -most of my fixers are tiny!
Just to clarify these aren't necessarily product fails (yet) just bad luck of the draw. Banila Co Glam Muse Luster Lipstick came in the RED shade. If you've seen my previous entries regarding red lipstick, yah I have plenty care of Memebox. OK so the red looks a little less 'red', but still....
Etude House Brow Mascara came in the LIGHTEST SHADE. Yes I dye my hair blonde but damn bronze brows are not the go man. I will try it for LOLZ.
Anything else I haven't mentioned is just because I'll use it anyway. Pretty much all of the rest of the products are usable for me so I'm happy to have them in my collection. To summarize overall, I'm pretty stoked with these two boxes, my only complaints being about random shade selections - harden up Kim!
