Sally's Box Friendly Berry Berry Lip Patch Review

Okay, so this is technically not a mask, but a patch, but the concept is pretty much the same so here we go...

This rather odd looking product arrived in my recent My Cute Wishlist 2 box from Memebox.  I have to say I was pretty interested in trying it out, since you know weird looking thing....

Jagger-esque to say the least...

According to the product description on the Memebox card:

Infused with various berry extracts rich in vitamin C, this lip mask hugs all the curves of your lips and enhance(s) them for luscious and kissable lips.

I have to say straight off the bat, this patch/mask is the simplest concept ever, but boy the execution is darn right weird.

The patch is very over sized and has a very thick plastic gel texture, and I think these two points are really where this fails.  The thickness of this works against any ideas of having this hug your lips.  It's just far too thick and inflexible to do that.

Also it's massive, like ridiculously so.

You're meant to leave this on for 10-20 minutes, but I struggled to get to ten as it just wasn't comfortable and did not want to stay in place.... AT ALL.

Also I looked like an extra from a Rolling Stones Horror Movie....

The Noir version for your horror, I mean enjoyment....

Goofy faces aside, did it work?  Well yes, and no.  My lips were a little more moisturized afterward but nothing to get excited about.  They didn't seem any plumper at all.

Would I buy this again? Nope. No. Hell no.  Basically it's just such a hassle to use and doesn't really do anything for me, so definitely not a winner.
